I am the group leader of the CompBioLab, part of the Instituto de Investigaciones Biomédicas, at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
MISSION
Our mission is the creation of scientific knowledge in the area of Computational Biology. Specifically,
our main interest is the discovery and analysis of the properties of biological networks, aided by the development of mathematical and computational methodologies.
VISION
Our vision is to contribute to the formalization of biology, aiming at transforming it into a theory of living systems.
